특히 교사 평가에 대한 의견을 보내주신 수강들에게 감사드립니다.

답변해주신 설문지를 주의 깊게 읽고, 다음학기에 일부분 반영할 예정입니다.

1. 대부분 아침 수업은 --:30에 시작됩니다 [6:20am, 7:25am 제외]

      이제 오전 수업 시간은

                       6:20, 7:25, 8:30, 9:30, 10:30, 11:30

       에 시작되며, 수업시간은 55-58분이 됩니다.

2. 저녁 수업은 기존대로 7:00pm에 시작합니다. 

3. 3학기는 5월 2일 월요일에 시작하여 6월 28일 화요일에 끝나는 것으로 변경 되었습니다.

부가 설명 :

1.

11시 45분과 11시 30분 사이에는 별로 큰 차이가 없어 보이지만

만약 점심약속으로 12시에 친구를 만나고 싶을 때는 15분 차이가 엄청나죠.

8:30분 수업은 이르고, 11:45분 수업은 너무 늦어서 등록하기 어렵고, 10:40분 수업마저도 애매해 지는 일이 생겼습니다.

그래서 2학기에 9시 30분 수업을 9시로 당겨보려는 시도를 했지만,

학생들이 오전 9시는 너무 이르다는 의견이 많았습니다.

그래서 오전 수업시간을 55~58분으로 줄여 대부분의 수업 시작 시간이 --:30 으로 될 수 있게 맞추었습니다.

이렇게 하면 좀 더 선택하기 편한 시간대의 수업이 많아져서 학급 규모의 균형을 이룰 수 있을것이라 예상합니다.

2.

코로나 전, 원래 저녁 수업은 7시 10분에 시작하여 9시 10분에 끝났지만 팬데믹 동안  7시에서 9시로 변경되었습니다. 

저녁수업 시작은 7시로 유지하려고 합니다.

3.

많은 학생들이 히터는 너무 뜨겁고 건조하고, 에어컨은 너무 춥다고 불만을 표시 했습니다.

수강생들의 의견에 따라, 냉난방기 교체를 고려하고 있습니다.

만약, 냉난방기 교체가 이루어진다면 5-6월의 스케줄이 바뀔 수도 있습니다.

4.

우리 교사들도 가족을 만나 재충전하고 함께 보낼 시간이 필요합니다.

5~6월에 Gedisa는 휴식 기간을 가지고 Cherri와 Nathan이 레벨 3, 4, 5, 6 및 토픽영어 수업을 맡게 되었습니다.

 Gedisa가 돌아오면 선생님들과 새로운 수업을 만드려고 합니다.

수강생들이 다양한 교사, 시간 및 수업 스타일을 원한다는 것을 알고 있습니다. 그러기 위해서는 학원이 성장해야 합니다.

Thank you all for your continued support and encouragement.

 We are always appreciative and we will always do our best for you.

Particular thanks to students for their comments on the Teacher Evaluations. We read them closely and we are going to make some small changes in Term 3. 

I will list them briefly and explain in detail at the bottom

1. All morning classes, except 6:20am and 7:25 , will now start at --:30.

               Morning class times will now be

                     6:20, 7:25, 8:30, 9:30, 10:30, 11:30

Classes will now be 55-58 minutes.

2. Evening classes will continue to start at 7:00pm

3. Term 3 will start Monday, May 2nd and end on Tuesday, June 28th.

4. We will begin to offer new classes in Term 4

The Long Explanation:

1. There is no big difference between 11:45 and 11:30,

 but when you want to meet your friends for lunch at 12pm those 15 minutes are huge.

Students also said that 9am was too early so we compromised and changed morning classes to --:30.

We hope that this will balance class sizes and make things easier.

To make this possible we will reduce class times to 55 to 58 minutes. 

2. Before COVID our evening classes started at 7:10 and ended at 9:10,

but during the Pandemic we changed to 7pm to 9pm. We will keep that change.

3. Many students complain that our heaters are too hot and dry their skin and our air conditioner is too cold.

We hear you and we will replace them.

In order to replace them and not disturb your classes we need some extra time.

So the schedule for Terms 3 and 4 might change. We will keep you updated. 

4. Our teachers also need time to refresh and spend time with family.

During Term 3 Gedisa will get some rest so Cherri and Nathan will be the foreign teachers for Levels 3, 4, 5, 6 and Topical English.

When Gedisa returns we will have a full staff of teachers and we will begin to add new classes.

Please understand our situation. It is temporary and Gedisa will be back in July.

5. I understand that students want a variety of teachers, class times and styles of classes.

I wish for the same things, but to make this happen the school must grow.

So I continue to ask for your help and support so that we can give you the things you desire.

Please tell your friends and family about Gangnam SDA and write a Kakao, Google or Naver review.

6. I hope that you understand we made all of these decisions to make Gangnam SDA and your educational experience better.
